There is a much higher rate of recovery in children than in adults. A knowledgeable doctor will be able to lessen the severity of many symptoms and assist you in the management of these illnesses. We are grateful to Mary Robinson for the letters and answers she has provided for our Youth Site. Mary is an American educator and research assistant of Dr. David S. Bell. Mary and Rebecca Moore are cofounders of the website Pediatric Network for CFS, FM, OI (orthostatic intolerance), which is a website and forum dedicated to the issues and day to day trials of life with children afflicted with these illnesses. Mary counsels parents on how to work with their schools to get the best educational plan for their children.
