Using our User-Friendly Website

  • The Menu running across the top of the page contains the general categories. When you click on a general category from the top menu, the various sections for the chosen category will appear in the left-hand menu.  The left-hand menu will change for each main category at the top or the page. For further assistance, click on the site map at the bottom of each page.

  • Libraries:   Visit our three libraries: Quest Library (our newsletter), Research Library and Legal LibraryOur search engine may be of assistance.

  • Patients' and Youth Corners:  These "Corners" include a number of "Galleries".  Please send us your picture and story, your creative writings, artwork and tips to post!  Your voice is our voice.   Patients, we need your input - let's hear from you!

Overviews of the
Canadian Consensus Documents

Dr. Bruce Carruthers, principal author of the Consensus Documents for ME/CFS and co-editor of the FMS Consensus Document, and Marjorie van de Sande, Consensus Coordinator for both Consensus Documents, have written Overviews of the Canadian Consensus Documents for ME/CFS and FMS. These user-friendly Overviews of the physicians' guidelines will further assist busy medical practitioners.

The Canadian Consensus Documents for ME/CFS and FMS include clinical definitions and diagnostic and treatment guidelines for medical practitioners.

The National ME/FM Action Network spearheaded the drive for the development of clinical definitions and guidelines. Health Canada selected the Expert Consensus Panels.


We hope that you find our website a comfortable place to visit often. We endeavor to make this website user-friendly, keep you abreast to new developments, and have no advertising.   We are here to support you and encourage you to contribute to the Patients' Corner.  The content of this website is developed and maintained by the webmaster on a volunteer basis and she welcomes your comments.
